The inspiration behind the shoot was literally a picture of a fallen chandelier I saw on Pinterest and thought this is something to work with. We discussed how to incorporate this inspiration into the shoot and ultimately ended up with two large chandeliers on a table and lovely, soft florals ‘growing’ from it.
The idea was to go a bit over-the-top but still make the look appropriate and pretty enough for brides looking for inspiration for their wedding. Looking at the newest trends for the wedding season we decided on sparkles, geometric shapes and a colourscheme most brides will relate to, blush, light pinks, white, green and a pop of dark pink combined with gold and rosegold. Like any other shoot, the flowers make the whole concept come together. We used Hydraengeas, Tulips, Peonies, Orchids, Roses, Blushing Brides, King Proteas and lisiathus to create a soft, dreamy look.
